I just read another agent’s post where they tried to justify not sending a response to a query and it sounded just as lame as it always does. If I didn’t respond to people at my day job, there would be hell to pay. Pretty bad hearing people white wash the policy in the comments too. I have a lot more respect for agents and publications who close queries until they get caught up.  She isn’t the first woman to have a busy job and raise kids and she certainly won’t be the last. Obviously, I won’t be sending a query to her. Of course, buyers market and all that, but life is too short. Maybe we should boycott these guys.
